Ord Mantell: once an important strategic spaceport on the way to the Outer Rim, now a peaceful farming world with a high level of tolerance for entrepreneurs of all stripes. As it faded in importance from "official" trade routes, it became well-known and well-loved by alternative business-makers.
Not even the separatist movement that started two years ago has hampered business, much the opposite; disturbances and violence escalated, and the separatists proved themselves unwilling to trade with the established merchants and smugglers. Rightly so, demand for military-grade goods rose as people found themselves needing to fight for their lives and livelihoods.
So, its nothing new that a light freighter is arriving to unload cargo at Drelliad Village's small spaceport. From the command bridge, the captain has a good view of the region, including the Republic troopers exchanging shots with separatist militia, right at the outskirts of the settlement.
Yeah, better not to linger more than strictly needed.
