Flashpoint

Carrick Station, the main hub of the Republic Fleet; nearing 300 years since its construction, the massive spacedock is kept in near-pristine condition, ready to cater to the needs of thousands of crews and passengers every day-cycle.

Every pilot worth of the name knows the hyperlane coordinates to Carrick, and will visit the place at least once in their lifetime.

Annabelle gives Onemi her most charming smile. "A proper reward, hm?" She teases. "You have any plans for tonight?"

Yes, she is propositioning the Jedi.

Onemi just raises a brow and tilts head, curious; yes, the caught that, and might just be waiting for the woman to elaborate?

At that look, Annabelle figures she might need to be a bit blunt. "I'd like to take you to bed and show you a good enough time that the neighbors complain about the noise, if you're interested."

"You are indeed bold and direct." She sounds fairly impressed. "Jedi are not supposed to form personal attachments."

Does she mean, 'no strings attached'?

Maybe.

"I can understand that," Annabelle allows. "Of course, we're not likely to see each other again once we got off this ship, the galaxy's a big place."

That's probably a yes for 'no strings attached'.

"And causing noise complaints could make problems of its own." Now, she even smiles a bit.

Right, discretion, no strings attached... simple rules.

"I'm betting the soundproofing in your room's pretty good," Annabelle replies with a chuckle. "Or I could just kiss you often enough that I swallow the sound that way."

"We will see." She nods, and starts away, beckoning Annabelle to follow.

They do have several hours of travel ahead... plenty of time to spend in some refreshing physical interaction.

Maybe pillow talk afterwards too?

Plenty of time. Time to enjoy themselves and find out that Annabelle is more gentle and cautious in bed than one might suppose and the Jedi less reserved?

Annablle relaxes, curled up near Onemi. She's open to conversation if the Jedi wants to talk.

"So, where are you from?" The woman is a lot less reserved in private, no doubt.

"Coruscant, oddly enough," Annabelle replies with a soft smile. "How about you?"

"Naboo. It is a world in the mid-rim; my family descends from refugees who settled there after the Grizmallt revolution, less than 300 years ago." The woman shifts a bit closer, obviously enjoying the contact.

Annabelle enjoys it too. She puts an arm around the Jedi. "I haven't been to Naboo yet," Annabelle remarks. "What's it like, growing up on a proper planet? I was 14 years old before I ever saw a sky."

"I did not grow up much there." The Jedi smiles a bit, shakes head. "Master Yuon Par discovered me when I was four; she was so impressed with my sensitivity to the Force, that she came back for me, and when I was six, convinced my parents to send me to the Academy."

"It must have been hard, leaving home at that age." Annabelle can't imagine leaving her family behind that young.

"Its was strange, but it was also exciting... learning, seeing new worlds and people." Onemi smiles. "When I turned 12, Master Yuon made me her Padawan, and we left the temple to continue my training across the galaxy. A few weeks ago, she took me to Tython for my Trials."

"She fell ill and passed out during my graduation; I had to stay in Tython to decide on my Path, but she was sent to Coruscant to be treated there."

"I hadn't realized Jedi training lasted that long," Annabelle remarks, impressed.

"Is your Master going to be alright?" Because passing out is never a good thing.

"I sincerely don't know. Qyzen says she has been ill a while, but hid it because she wanted to finish my training." A small sigh. "The medical researchers in Coruscant are the best in the galaxy... they should be able to help her."

Annabelle nods. "I can keep her in my thoughts, if you like?" It's....pretty much worthless, but it's all she can offer.

"Thank you. I hope all will be well for her" She nods and smiles a bit again.

"So, are you going visit family?"

Annabelle shakes her head. "Haven't got any family left alive."

She frowns. "My ship was stolen, and the last information we could find was that it was taken to Coruscant."

"I'm sorry." Onemi strokes her hair a bit.

"Did you contact the authorities already?"

"Authorities..." Annabelle starts, perplexed. Oh, right. THOSE PEOPLE. The ones most people turn to for help with shit like this.

"That....hadn't occurred to me, actually," Annabelle admits. "Authorities and I ah, don't have the best history."

Like the guy she dumped out an airlock on Coruscant a few months ago that she would have SWORN was a fake Customs agent, because legit customs officials ask for credits to look the other way not sex.

"I see." And more, she doesn't make a fuss about it. "Hopefully you'll find the thief and recover your property."

And it might be better if Annabelle does not mention what she has in mind for Skavak.

Probably, yes. >.>

"Thank you," Annabelle says with a smile and a kiss. For the good wishes and for not making a fuss.
